Flutter confirmed that Michael Cawley has stepped down as a non-executive director and chair of its Audit Committee. Zillah Byng-Thorne has also stepped down as chair of the Risk and Sustainability Committee, but will continue as non-executive director.

Flutter has also appointed Holly Keller Koeppel as the new chair of its Audit Committee and David Lazzarato as chair of the Risk and Sustainability Committee. Additionally, from July 1, Carolan Lennon will be appointed as a non-executive director.

Yggdrasil has appointed Björn Krantz as its CEO. Krantz has more than 12 years of industry experience, having previously worked at NetEnt for a decade before he joined Yggdrasil as its chief of global market operations in 2020.

Dutch state-owned Holland Casino has promoted Malinda Miener to the position of chief compliance officer. Miener had a varied working background before joining Holland Casino as its director of compliance last year, including being a former Royal Netherlands Navy officer.

Spanish casino operator Cirsa, which is owned by Blackstone, has promoted Antonio Hostench as its new chief executive. Hostench has been president of Cirsa’s Sportium sportsbook brand. The promotion comes as the board decided to split the role of CEO and chairman held by Joaquim Agut since 2018. Agut will now solely act as executive chairman of Cirsa.

The Nomination Committee of Raketech has proposed Clare Boynton and Pierre Cadena be elected as new board members at the Annual General Meeting on May 17, 2022. The committee also proposes the re-election of chairman Ulrik Bengtsson and other members Johan Svensson, Erik Skarp and Magnus Gottås. Current board members Annika Billberg and Fredrik Svederman are not standing for re-election.

Parimatch appointed Anna Motruk, its chief finance officer, and Evgen Belousov, its chief revenue officer, as its new co-CEOs on April 1, 2022. Roman Syrotian, who held the co-CEO position since 2021, will remain a member of the Supervisory Board, while Maksym Liashko has become the Parimatch Tech CEO.

Howard Mittman has been named president of 888 US. Mittman will be responsible for the company’s U.S. operations, including its strategic partnership with Authentic Brands Group, owner of the Sports Illustrated brand. Most recently, Mittman served as CEO of the digital sports-brand Bleacher Report, having previously been the chief marketing and revenue officer at the company.

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has hired Jaime Costello as director of programs. In this role, Costello will oversee planning, implementation and evaluation of NCPG programs, support strategic planning efforts through consistent monitoring, and serve as a spokeswoman for national problem gambling efforts. Costello joins the NCPG after serving as bureau director of prevention and training at the New York Council on Problem Gambling.

The American Gaming Association (AGA) has announced changes to its senior-level team with Alex Costello being named vice president, government relations; David Forman, vice president, research; Gabrielle Voorhees, vice president, finance and operations; and Brandon Leggiero, senior director, member and partner relations.

The AGA has also added several key hires to its staff, including Tres York, who joins the trade group from the National Conference of State Legislatures as senior director, government relations, Christopher Browne joins from the Washington Nationals as director, media relations, and Annabelle Goese, who was hired from Resources for the Future as senior manager, member services.

Tina Griffin has been named director of the Washington State Gambling Commission. She has served as interim director since April 2021. Prior to her appointment, Griffin served as the agency’s assistant director and has held various positions in her more than 29 years working at the commission.

Nakisha Skinner has been sworn in to her new position as a commissioner with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC). Skinner, who was appointed by state treasurer Deborah Goldberg, will serve for five years. Skinner joined the MGC in November 2020 as chief of its licensing division. She oversaw vendor and employee licensing and registration, and alcohol beverage licensing operations.

Stewart Groumoutis has been named vice president commercial – Canada for OpenBet, a technology, content, and services company that works with lotteries in four provinces. Groumoutis spent ten years with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), where he recently served as director of eGaming.

The International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) has appointed four industry executives to its advisory council. They are Laurens Vosloo, CEO of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians; Trevor Croker, CEO and managing director of Aristocrat Leisure; Ellen Whittemore, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at Wynn Resorts; and Bobby Soper, international president of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment.

FanDuel Group has appointed Tricia Alcamo as the company’s chief people officer. Alcamo will lead the company’s human resources organization inclusive of culture development, talent acquisition, diversity, equity and inclusion, organizational effectiveness, employment training, employee benefits across all the company’s brands.

SciPlay Corporation has appointed Nic Earl to its board of directors. The addition of Earl brings the SciPlay board to six members. He currently serves as a senior advisor to AviaGames, a developer of mobile, social competitive gaming. Earl most recently served as CEO and director of Glu Mobile, a develop of mobile games.

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has appointed Bruce Caughill as managing director, Canada. Caughill joined RSI in March and having served as chief legal officer at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, where he oversaw all legal matters and played a key role in developing the legislative and policy infrastructure for Canada’s first legal internet gaming market.

The Cowlitz Indian Tribe in Washington state has appointed its first non-elected chief operating officer in the tribe’s history. Kent Caputo was hired because of the significant growth and development the tribe has experienced since its ilani Casino opened five years ago. Prior to joining the tribe, Caputo served as general counsel and chief commercial officer for Northwest Innovation Works.

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment has appointed Raymond Lin as chief legal officer to oversee and direct all legal and compliance affairs at the company’s domestic and international properties. Prior to joining Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, Lin was a partner at law firm Latham & Watkins representing clients linked to the gaming industry.

Playmaker Capital Inc., a Toronto-based digital sports media company, has appointed Sara Slane, founder of Slane Advisory and former senior vice president of the American Gaming Association, to its board of directors. Mark Harrison, founder of T1 Agency and Sponsorship X, was also named to the board.

Florida’s Gaming Control Commission has hired Louis Trombetta, director of the Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering at the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), as its executive director. Trombetta, who served in that role at DBPR for two years and previously served as counsel for the Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering, was selected from three finalists for the position.

The Nez Perce Tribe executive committee has appointed Nikoli Greene as executive officer of Nez Perce Tribal Enterprises. Greene, an enrolled member of the tribe, has served as the executive officer in an interim capacity since October 2021.

Resorts World Sentosa owner Genting Singapore has promoted veteran president and COO Tan Hee Teck to CEO, replacing Genting Group mogul Lim Kok Thay, according to a Singapore bourse filing on May 1. Tan had been president and COO since 2010, and has worked with Genting since 2004. Lim retains chairmanship of the Singapore operation, while Tan’s successor as president and COO has yet to be named. Genting Singapore also replaced company secretary Liew Lan Hing with Ong Jinq Her.

Chen Lip Keong, the founder and owner of Cambodia casino monopoly NagaCorp, has added his three sons to the top executive line-up from lower company posts, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on April 5. Chen Yiy Fon, 41, is now CEO of operations, Chen Cherchi, 34, is CEO of finance and treasury, and Chen Yiy Hwuan, 42, is CEO of hotels, while Chen Lip Keong’s CEO designation has changed to senior chief executive officer. Chen Lip Keong will “continue to lead the Group and remains actively, strongly and firmly in grip to lead and manage the Group”, the filing said. Other changes include Anthony Cheung moving from director of capital investment and corporate finance to CFO and Tan Sean Czoon from CFO of the company to CFO of the “founder’s office”.

Canberra casino operator Aquis Entertainment has announced the retirement of Hong Kong-based director Alex Chow, who said in an April 6 filing to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) that tough pandemic restrictions in Hong Kong had impeded his ability to carry out his duties. His replacement has yet to be named.

Australian gaming machine company Aristocat Leisure announced to the ASX on April 13 that CFO Julie Cameron-Doe had ended her tenure with the company on April 15 ahead of her move to Wynn Resorts as CFO, filling the gap by Craig Billings’ promotion to CEO. Aristocrat deputy CFO Sally Denby will replace Cameron-Doe until a replacement is named.
