Slovakia: Parliament Approves Draft Law for Transposition of 5th AMLD
On October 9, 2019, the government approved the bill amending Act No. 297/2008 Coll. on protection against money laundering and financing of terrorism as well as amendments of certain acts. The bill was submitted by the minister of the interior with the aim of transposing the 5th Anti-Money Laundering Directive (Directive 2018/843), the recommendations of MONEYVAL and amendments as a result of current practice.
