Dominican Republic: New Anti-Money Laundering Act
On May 19, 2017, the Senate of the Dominican Republic approved in its second reading, and with modifications, the Bill Against Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism, which seeks to substitute and repeal Law No. 72-02 on the Laundering of Proceeds from Illicit Trafficking of 2002. It will now go to the Chamber of Deputies.
